Who We Are

NYSACDL is proud to feature seminars throughout New York State which focus on criminal defense issues.   NYSACDL has been approved by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of Continuing Legal Education in New York.  Our courses provide MCLE credit in New York and many other jurisdictions.  We offer live programs featuring renowned litigators and experts in topical fields such as forensics, DNA, and Interlock Ignition.


Member Discounts

As a benefit of NYSACDL membership, we offer reduced tuition and, on occasion, free seminars to our members.  New Members are always welcome and will receive the benefit of the Membership Discount if they join in connection with a seminar.


Tuition Assistance

NYSACDL offers tuition assistance based on financial hardship.  Anyone requesting a scholarship should contact the office at 212-532-4434 or by e-mail to the Executive Director Margaret Alverson


Course Materials

NYSACDL is going GREEN.

New in 2011, CLE Course Materials will be available in pdf format for pre-paid registrants prior to the seminar.   You will be able to download the materials directly to your computer, print what you need, or bring your laptop with you to the seminar.

Printed materials will still be available for a nominal cost for those who request them.

How to Enroll

  • Online: Our homepage has a current Calendar of CLE offerings with a link to the online registration form.
  • Mail: Brochures and Course Registration forms are available on the homepage which may be downloaded and mailed in with a check.  You may also contact our office and request to be put on our mailing list.
  • Fax: Registration forms may be faxed to us at 888-239-4665.

  • Join NYSACDL today and enjoy access to our Listserv, Member Resources, discounted CLE courses and other member benefits.

  • To reduce fees and go green, we’re offering new options for CLE materials:

    • Fast & Easy downloadable PDFs for pre-paid registrants approximately one week before the program
    • For an additional cost, printed materials provided at the program.
